Cross of Valour, Type III                                             12,500 Awarded

Instituted in 1920, Second highest decoration for bravery.
Awarded for acts of valour which would not justify the awarding of the Virtuti Militari. Can be awarded up to four times, each subsequent award denoted by a clasp.

Obverse: NA POLU CHWALY (On the Field of Glory)
Reverse: WALECZNYCH (Valorous)
